Marking Steel Spear Point Handle Kit

Solving the issue of achieving marking of fine pins in dovetail joints and other very delicate marking or cutting situations

This Spear Point marking knife advantages are:

• The 32mm of the projected blade from the handle is 1.6mm thick it can get pretty much anywhere in narrow spacing.
• Attaching a handle to only the bevel side of the blade allows marking using the flat of a carcass to lay the blade against to mark the inside measure of moldings and trims, with the added handle giving more purchase, but you will find many other uses for this configuration.
• it is very light
• The wood handle is more easily held in a "pencil grip" when working for an extended time.
• the bevels of the blade are not thick so they can easily be resharpened, with no need for a micro bevel.
• the blade is thick enough so there is no flex, this resists any straying from the line needing to be marked.
• the spear point allows marking on both sides of narrow pins
