Dovetail Marker
This Dovetail Marker is just the right tool to lay out dovetails quickly and accurately. With it, you can mark the slope on the dove-tail and a line square across the end of the board at the same time. One side of the gauge has a slope of 6:1, a good choice for soft-woods; the other side is 7:1 for hardwoods. Choose one side, mark the end square and then mark one side of the dovetails down the board. Flip the marker around, check the angle, and mark the second side of your dovetails.
